Maker of Monsters - Y4

My class selected this as their class read for pleasure this half term and it has been a huge hit. It has some lovely language with it, but The Maker of Monsters' key selling point is the characterisation of those the tale is about; Brat, Sherman and (the class' favourite) Tingle. It's captured the attention of my whole class and they are all on the edges of their seats to find out if Brat and crew will make it to safety before the monsters catch up to them.
Having read the book already, I cannot wait to get to the big twist at the end and find out what my class make of it all.
